The National Concert Hall’s Education, Community and Outreach (ECO) programme seeks to engage people with music, to enhance people’s understanding and appreciation of music and music making, and to encourage personal, community and social development through music.
Built on the twin pillars of excellence and inclusivity, the ECO programme aims to contribute to national musical citizenship through a wide range of quality, accessible, and socially relevant initiatives.
Song for ’16 is an all-island schools song competition presented by the National Concert Hall, Disney Music Group and the Department of Education and Skills. This competition forms part of the National Concert Hall’s 2016 Centenary Programme. For more information on how to apply please see here.
