Leave a Legacy
Make the Hall your Legacy for the future
A legacy gift is a uniquely valuable way to express your appreciation for the enjoyment and inspiration that the National Concert Hall offers to people from all walks of life. Your gift will make a meaningful contribution to our work, ensuring that the pleasure of music will be passed on to future generations.
Many people find that leaving a legacy to benefit others after they've gone, is one of the most wonderfully, rewarding experiences of their lives. We fully understand your family and friends come first. After you have provided for them perhaps you would consider including the National Concert Hall in your will. If you have already remembered the National Concert Hall in your Will, we would be delighted to hear from you – we would like to show our gratitude during your lifetime.

John Field Society
By joining our John Field Society today you can make your support go further, directing your donation towards the artistic endeavours of the National Concert Hall and areas closest to your heart.
From 1st January 2013 all donations of €250 or more from individuals (both PAYE and Self-Assessed) will be treated the same, at a new blended rate of 31%. This means that, with your permission, the National Concert Hall, as a registered charity, is now eligible to claim tax relief on donations of €250 or more. That’s €112.32 on every €250 donated, or a total of €363.32, effectively increasing the impact of your donation.
To make tax efficient donating easier you can now also opt to make an “enduring declaration” to charities (5 years), removing the need for annual form filling and easing the administrative burden on charities and the Revenue.
As an eligible charity the National Concert Hall puts every euro to good use. Did you know it takes:
- €5 to send an education pack out to a school
- €12.50 for a music stand for a musician visiting hospitals
- €25 for a sick child to enjoy a musical workshop while in hospital
- €100 to tune a piano before a family concert
- €290 to leave a percussion pack with a school to continue their musical development
- €500 to organise a workshop in a care setting, home or hospital
