Step into the professional spotlight with an exclusive opportunity from the NSO and IYMT. We're seeking young creative visionaries to join our prestigious mentorship program, working directly alongside West End's finest creative talents on our upcoming production of Sweeney Todd in Concert.
Transform Your Career Through Hands-On Experience
Assistant Director
Collaborate with acclaimed theatre director Séimí Campbell to bring his artistic vision to life:
- Conduct vital production research
- Document and manage staging directions
- Foster a vibrant creative environment
- Lead engaging company warm-ups and activities
- Work collaboratively across creative departments
Assistant Movement Director
Partner with renowned movement director James Cousins to shape the physical language of the production:
- Document choreography, footwork, and spatial arrangements
- Maintain movement integrity throughout the production process
- Lead physical preparation sessions
- Collaborate seamlessly with the wider creative team
Assistant Musical Director
Work alongside celebrated Music Supervisor Sarah Travis and the Musical Director:
- Help realise ambitious musical vision and elevate company performance
- Provide keyboard accompaniment during rehearsals
- Lead vocal calls when needed
- Conduct warm-ups
- Support the director's vision through musical excellence
Production Assistant
Join forces with our Company Manager, Stage Manager and NSO producing team:
- Oversee stage planning during rehearsals
- Create and maintain an optimal rehearsal environment
- Provide critical backstage support during technical rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with technical and stage management teams
