Syng Selected is a modern, a cappella (unaccompanied) choir consisting of 32 of Denmark’s most talented young singers aged 18-30. Formed in 2014, it has fast become an established part of the Danish vocal music scene, and has toured in Sweden, Germany, the US, Israel and Turkey. Their concerts revolve around the theme of Courage – courage to trust yourself, courage to fail, courage to fall and get back up, courage to be fragile and courage to grow.
During their spring 2025 trip to Ireland they are also appearing at the Cork Choral Festival , conducted by Line Groth Riis and Morten Vinther.
Cór Linn is one of Ireland’s leading choirs for young singers aged 14-18. Formed in autumn 2018 by RTÉ with currently over 50 young voices, it is now part of the NCH family of choirs and has already built up a wide and varied repertoire, with concerts including New Music Dublin 2019-2025 , Culture Night in the NCH, a Civil War commemoration in the Garden of Remembrance and performances with the National Symphony Orchestra and Cór na nÓg. Under the baton of choral director Ciarán Kelly, they were winners of the 2024 City of Derry International Choir Festival youth choir competition.
