‘Recital of Flamenco guitar’, Juan Jose’s second album, released in 2023, is a journey through the purest flamenco "palos" (flamenco music forms), composed for solo guitar.

Juan José Manzano, born in Cádiz, south of Spain, 1980, is a Flamenco guitarist and composer living in Ireland since 2005, where he earns his living as a musician. 

He has been surrounded by Flamenco since he was born. He was greatly influenced by his mum Ana, singing Flamenco and Copla everyday in their Andalusian patio and him accompanying her on guitar, also ‘The Peña Flamenca’, a building next door to his home, where Flamenco was performed day and night. Inevitably Flamenco became the passion of his life.

Nowadays, his passion and vocation is the integration and the evolution of traditional Flamenco music in Ireland.

Juan José just returned from Japan, where he had the opportunity to present his latest album ‘Recital of Flamenco guitar’ in Tokyo. Now he brings the same concert to the NCH.
