The National Concert Hall has teamed up with Garageland for a special evening of original music from young bands.

“Due to a variety of reasons, mostly outside of their control, rock music venues have difficulty in staging All Ages Shows," says Dermot Lambert of Garageland "so this is an important step from the NCH, and one which we hope will create a regular new outlet for this age group and their fans, of which there are many."

Presented by Garageland in partnership with NCH, The Dept Tourism Culture Arts Gaeltacht Sports & Media Night Time Economy Unit Youth Initiative

Thanks Mom

Thanks Mom played their first ever show on Garageland Galaxyz in 2022, and have since gone on to play many shows with Garageland, Dermot Lambert even re-opened the live radio show to bring the then 15 year old Erica into RTÉ for a live special. Gaining a loyal fanbase and plenty of music industry attention, they’re joining us tonight as our very special guests for 3 songs only.

Dopamine

Dopamine – another super charged blast of energy, attracting plenty of attention from within the music industry while half of the band have yet to do their leaving! Highly recommended.

Urban Hours

Urban Hours first joined Garageland for Garageland Teen Spirit 2023 in Drogheda, and they blew everybody away with their music, and also with their magnetic enthusiasm. Now Garageland Youth Music regulars, Urban Hours have played Garageland Galaxyz 2024 and a host of radio appearances, all while keeping up the schoolwork!

Eabha O’Keeffe

Eabha O’Keeffe’s first live appearance was at the Guinness Storehouse, as part of the Solas Project Dublin 8, having spent a number of months working directly with Garageland’s Dermot Lambert, refining her already brilliantly written tunes. Going from strength to strength, Eabha has now produced a full set of carefully crafted gems. She will be joined on the night by her partner in crime Summer O’Callaghan, and maybe one or two other surprise guests!
