Already an experienced performer in many concert halls around the world, pianist 21 year old Dida Condria presents this varied programme as part of the Swainson Prize at Feis Ceoil 2024. A multiple prize winner and scholarship student currently studying with Aaron Shorr at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Dida began her studies with Reamonn Keary at RIAM from age of 6. A past member of the DIPC William Finlay Programme under John O Conor, Dida was also a Keyboard Finalist at the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition and has had many recent competition successes. She performs chamber music with her piano trio and has won awards for lieder accompaniment as well as exploring free improvisation with the esteemed Estonian Anto Pett.

She has been praised for ‘her incredible performances and spell binding renditions’ of the composer Sadie Harrison’s works and Edinburgh Music Review described her first prize-winning concerto performance at the Edinburgh Festival as ‘a splendid performance of one of the great pianistic challenges of the whole repertoire
