COVID 19 PERIOD
Following the most recent advice from Government, Monday 19th October 2020, the National Concert Hall will remain closed to the public.
This is in line with country-wide Level 5 restrictions announced and as outlined in the Resilience and Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for Living with Covid-19.
While the NCH is closed to the public we will continue to stage livestream concerts as planned, providing opportunities for artists to perform and for audiences to connect culturally online. This will be achieved while adhering to Covid-19 protocols and procedures put in place at the NCH to protect musicians and staff.
The National Concert Hall's annual Tradition Now series, presented in partnership with the Arts Council, will be livestreamed on the 24/25 October, on Dice.fm showcasing a variety of Irish and contemporary artists. Following that, celebrated singer/songwriter Paul Brady will perform with special guest Loah on 7th November and on 24th November Grammy-nominee Rhiannon Giddens and multi-instrumentalist Francesco Turrisi will take to the stage. Both concerts are part of the NCH Imagining Ireland Series, supported by Davy and Culture Ireland.
In addition, the NCH's Learning and Participation programme will continue to be streamed online on NCH YouTube and Facebook channels allowing audiences to stay connected and engaged in culture and music throughout the period of restrictions.
We acknowledge that all public health guidelines in respect of Covid-19 are in place to ensure the utmost safety of audiences, musicians, and staff.
