COVID 19 PERIOD
Following the most recent advice from Government the National Concert Hall will close to the public from midnight on Friday 18th September.
This is in line with Level 3 restrictions outlined in the Resilience and Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for Living with Covid-19.
The result of this closure is that the NCH is no longer permitted to welcome live audiences to the venue for the upcoming chamber music series concerts beginning this weekend as planned. All planned chamber music concerts scheduled over the next three weeks will be postponed. Ticket holders for these concerts will be refunded in the coming days.
While the current restrictions delay a return to live music for now, we acknowledge that all public health guidelines in respect of Covid-19 are in place to ensure the utmost safety of our audiences, musicians, and staff.
We look forward to welcoming you back in due course, when it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, Christy Moore Solo will be livestreamed from the NCH on Saturday 19th September. The NCH and Music Town's Long Distance Love, will also be livestreamed from NCH on 22nd September as planned. These concerts can be viewed on Dice.fm. In addition, the NCH's Imagining Ireland series, showcasing some of Ireland's most exciting and creative musicians today, will also be livestreamed from Dice.fm as planned.
