RhythmWorks is a new series of rhythm workshops and master classes to enhance teaching and learning in professional practice, and to develop student skills in instrumental study.
When it comes to learning a musical instrument and developing as a musician, rhythm is an essential component that must be mastered by all.
Aimed at young music students of any instrument, RhythmWorks master classes are hands-on, interactive, educational, and are designed to equip students with the skills to play, read, process and understand rhythms at a higher level.
RhythmWorks master classes are offered at three levels:
• Introduction to Rhythm (for students at Grade 1-3 or equivalent)
• Rhythm for Improvers (for students at Grade 4-6 or equivalent)
• Advanced Rhythm (for students at Grade 6 or above, including diploma / 3rd level)
Each workshop is organised planned and structured to meet the level and abilities of those attending. Students will leave the each workshop reading and thinking of rhythm like drummers and percussionists and will be equipped with a set of skills to improve their rhythmical ability in their own instrument.
Introduction to Rhythm – 60mins.
Rhythm for Improvers – 75mins.
Advanced Rhythm – 90mins.
Introduction to Rhythm: €15
Rhythm for Improvers: €18
