Hospitality Facilities

The Terrace

The Terrace offers a range of private dining options, from a minimum of 30 diners to a maximum of 120 guests for a canapé or buffet receptions. The Terrace Café is open whenever a Main Auditorium Concert occurs so bookings are strongly recommended well in advance for large parties.

The Iveagh Room

The Iveagh Room is available for private hire with a capacity for 35 / 40 guests seated and 60 guests standing. The walls are adourned with the famous and celebrated artists from both past & present, with signed photographs and tributes to their experience at Ireland's National Concert Hall. It is perfect location for a pre-concert or interval cocktail reception, or as a breakout room during a meeting. The Iveagh room can be reserved privately at any time during the day and offers a full range of options from AV equipment to a board table lunch for up to 22 guests. John Field Room

The main artery of the building which is dominated by the large Waterford Crystal chandelier and is Ideal for a large canapé or buffet reception. The room has a full bar and direct access to the foyer and can accommodate up to 300 people and Up to 150 people can be seated for banquet lunches and dinners. The John Field Room during lunchtime concerts is transformed into a casual dining location with a large buffet serving tea / coffee, homebaked pastries and cakes plus light snacks both prior and post the concert event.

The Carolan Room

Offering an intimate atmosphere for special occasions, the Carolan Room can accommodate up to 120 people for a cocktail/buffet reception, or 70 people seated for a round table dinner. The meeting room configuration can also accommodate theatre-style seating for 100 people and boardroom meetings for up to 40 guests. This facility offers the luxury of a breakout and dining location on the Upper Balcony where catering can be delivered in either buffet or sit down format depending on your requirements.

The Upper Balcony

Featuring the exquisite chandelier, the balcony can facilitate a cocktail/buffet reception for up to 180 guests, or a full sit-down lunch or dinner for a maximum of 100 guests. The area also has its own dedicated bar and can be reserved as a pre- or post-concert venue for large parties. The Upper Balcony facility is regularly used as an breakout location for meetings and events held within the Carolan Room where morning coffees, light luncheon and afternoon tea can be served to delegates in comfortable surroundings.
